This book divides into logical phases, provides excellent examples and diagrams, easy to understand, written by someone who has gone thru this process many times so it is not based on `theory', offers free downloadable Excel and Word files via their Web site, and the process can be implemented into any size company or project. While it may be difficult to get upper level management involved in some of the processes, this book provides great information that any person involved in implementing projects will find useful.

As an Engineer/Project Manager for a Logistics company, I work with many clients of varying sizes to design and implement new systems that must be installed while not effecting their current operations. This lends itself perfectly into Multi-Company Project Management (MPM) methodology.

Part I of the book covers in detail the project organization and planning process, which is the key to any successful project - poor planning lead to poor results.Part II covers the project execution thru the close-out of the project. The author provides many tools and examples that, in my experience, have proved successful and are easily adapted into any industry. Then, in Part III, the author incorporates the techniques described in Parts I & II and incorporates them into a case study for a manufacturing facility.

This book is well laid out that provides a detailed Table of Contents which makes it easy to refer back to tables, exercises, or examples for further clarification during your project cycle. The inclusion of the online forms, templates, and tools allow the user access to immediately improve their project management of current projects.

I recommend this book to all Project Managers or executives who are responsible for project implementations who are looking for a tested methodology that will help them better plan and implement successful projects.
