Liberal use of acronyms made regular, frequent scans of previous chapters for full text represented by acronyms a necessity for this reader. A more comprehensive index in future editions of this book, (or on-line, now), would increase its value as a resource.
Nevertheless, the book is worth the price. A broad range of topics are covered comprehensively, in a scholarly style. The material is up-to-date. Projections of future directions are thought provoking.
If you are serious about understanding best practices for implementing enterprise GIS, this volume should be a key resource in your library.
